Safe-T-Bottles

 Some types of plastic drinking water bottles should NEVER be used. In light of the recent research on the leaching of hormone disrupting chemicals such as Bisphenol-A commonly found in the majority of plastic drinking water bottles, there is an urgent need to provide an alternative. These chemicals are associated with early puberty, behaviourhal problems in children and reproductive disorders including infertility. Whilst glass is the best storage vessel to house water, it is not always practical because of its weight and breakage issues.

Safe-T-Baby bottles

The Safe-T-Baby range of baby bottles are made from "TuxanTM glass". A form of borosilicate glass used in laboratory situations. Impliments such as test tubes are made from borosilicate glass use it's natural anti-bacterial nature and wide temperature range.

Why do we use Tuxan glass?
Tuxan glass is far stronger and more durable than conventional glass baby bottles. As such it is able to withstand wider temperature differences and is less likely to break with falls. Furthermore it has far less imperfections within the glass making it difficult for germs to grow. Tuxan glass is therefore easier to sanitise than plastic or conventional glass bottles.
