Naturopathic Assessment
Every initial consultation entails a thorough observation of iris, nails and tongue, in order to determine any deficiencies and provide a more suitable treatment protocol
RBTI Analysis
Feel like you don’t have any energy ? Are you always tired and fatigued? These ailments are often caused by a biochemical imbalance. RBTI analysis is a useful tool that assesses the state of the body, identifying deficiencies that over time can deteriorate your state health. RBTI analysis examines your individual biochemistry using urine and saliva samples to determine the state of major organs and primary body function ie digestion. The results can be used to prescribe appropriate diet and supplements.
The test procedure is performed on urine and saliva specimens, taken 2 hours or more away from food and at least 30 minutes away from drink (other than water).
Zinc Status Test **
Zinc is one of the essential minerals required by our body for many functions including digestion, immunity, recovery, DNA synthesis, hormone production and more. Many of us are zinc deficient a state which can be corrected so easily. The zinc status test is a simple and effective means of identifying a zinc deficiency. The test involves swirling a small amount of liquid zinc in your mouth. Your taste response (ie sweet, chalky, metallic) will determine your zinc level.
Nail and Tongue Diagnosis **
These are non invasive and quick methods to determine mineral, digestive and essential fatty acid deficiencies
The shape, colour and texture of the nails and hands are observed.
A deficiency in essential fatty acids, magnesium or calcium for example may lead to ridges forming on the nails, split nails may be a deficiency in silica, white spots can be caused by a deficiency.
Iridology **
This is a simple non invasive test. A iridology torch is used to view the iris (coloured part) of the eye. The practitioner identifies variation in the colour and pattern formation which point to particular weaknesses in organs and systems, even inherited weaknesses, inflammation , congestion, toxic build-up and underfunction. Iridology and a comprehensive case study can assist in directing you towards a better state of health with corrective dietary and lifestyle changes to restore and maintain optimum health and minimise future health complaints.
ph Saliva Test **
A simple non invasive test to determine acid/alkaline levels. The test involves placing saliva on pHydrion test strips. The paper changes colour in accordance with your levels of acidity or alkalinity. Optimal saliva ph should be 6.8 to 7.2. No food or drink (apart from water)may be consumed for at least 2 hours before the test.
Urinary indican Test
Urinary indican test determines the state of dysbiosis, an imbalance of bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract. It determines the putrefaction (failure to digest) of protein in the digestive tract. If the test is positive then this indicates the presence of dysbiosis. Dysbiosis can affect other systems such as the immune, hormonal and nervous systems. The Urinary indican test requires a sample of urine to which specific chemicals are added (reagents), these are mixed together and then graded in accordance with the colour chart. The darker the colour, the more positive the result.
